Boasting an incredible array of hundreds of luxury brands, South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa sees 22 million visitors annually. The Lafayette Hotel
The Lafayette Hotel, Swim Club and Bungalows, which debuted after a $31-million renovation by new owner, hospitality firm CH Projects, has a Florida connection. Johnny Weissmuller, the Olympic gold medalist who played Tarzan and resided in Miami’s Coral Gables, designed its original pool. Guests of the 139-room, historic gem can enjoy the amenity as well as eight dining options from Quixote to Beginner’s Diner.
