New York’s hippest pizzeria is popping up in the Miami Design District October through April. The Brooklyn-born, warehouse institution is setting up mobile operations in the Jungle Plaza (NE First Avenue and NE 38thStreet) to serve pies daily from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. Founders Brandon Hoy and Carlo Mirarchi, also the chef behind two Michelin-starred Blanca, have perfected Neapolitan pizza. The New York Times featured their dough recipe, a combination of finely ground 00 flour from Italy and all-purpose flour for a thin crackling crust attempted by chefs nationwide. Miamians will be able to sample several kinds such as their classic margherita and “famous original,” featuring a trio of cheeses—mozzarella, parmesan and caciocavallo—with the heat of chili, in two sizes no less.

BABOR BLOSSOMS

German skin-care brand Babor launched an interactive retail zone to complement its signature facials at the Spa at the Biltmore Hotel. Devotees of Dr. Michael Babor’s scientific formulas are invited for skin consultations at a dedicated table in the installation. Many have been introduced to the company’s products through the spa’s treatments over the past five years. They’ll be able to try the new Doctor Babor Hydro RX Hyaluron Serum, a blend of triple-action hyaluronic acid and HY-3 peptides (pictured); or mainstays like Ampoule Concentrates, high-dose active complexes sealed in small glass vials for a range of needs. They’re among his original mission for results-driven skin care with natural active ingredients since developing HY-ÖI cleansing oil in the Fifties. HEARTY APPETITE

Earlier this year, the couple behind Coolinary Café on the border of Palm Beach Gardens and Jupiter expanded nearby with the Parched Pig. Their gastro pub for artisanal charcuterie, oysters and craft beer introduces fall dishes to will a chill in the air. Patrons have been wolfing down sliders of Creekstone Farms beef slathered in a molasses barbecue sauce on Pullman rolls with coleslaw and horseradish pickle. Vegetarians have added new butternut squash hummus to their usual order of cauliflower au gratin and caramelized local mushrooms, popular signatures from the start. Chicken meatballs and guanciale-dotted pizza pair well with selections from the enormous beer and wine list. Finish with new desserts, too, including walnut and raisin-loaded carrot cake, and bitter chocolate panna cotta with vanilla bean shortbread and blackberries.

JAZZ, JILLIAN & JUPITER

Why wait for season when excuses to get out and about are already here? In Palm Beach, the gorgeous Sant Ambroeus hosts live jazz by Mr. Trombone, Santo and Tina every Wednesday from 7:30-10:30 p.m.; the Italian café and trattoria is sweetening the deal in extending aperitivo specials until 10 that night.
