Taking a cue from Miami, Palm Beach has organized its own multi-day art extravaganza. Palm Beach Art Weekend, which premieres December 1-3, culminates during a private reception on Saturday when Beth Rudin DeWoody unveils the Bunker, the 20,000-square-foot home for her contemporary art collection in a renovated Art Deco factory in West Palm Beach. Its inaugural installation features artworks by Nicole Eisenman, George Condo and Nick Cave, among dozens of artists. The public is welcome by appointment by contacting email@example.com. Sarah Gavlak, founder of the namesake gallery in Palm Beach and Los Angeles, who organized the weekend, hosts a reception for “Andrew Brischler: Lonely Planet” on Saturday, from 4-6 p.m. His new works on paper, pictured, are on view through December 30.
