Alice + Olivia opened a two-story flagship in the Miami Design District. Created for Instagram moments, the dramatic setting features black-and-white zigzag floors and a towering colonnade of white plaster carved like curtains in a grand estate. The new look is as whimsical as the New York brand’s designer fashions for women. Begun through founder Stacey Bendet’s quest for perfect-fitting pants, the collection expanded into full ready to wear, gowns and accessories. To show her love for the city, she’s debuting Spring 2018’s dusty pastels, romantic floral prints and feminine frocks here. Manufactured in Los Angeles, a new denim line, AO.LA, comes in cuts with fun names (Good, Great, Amazing). Its kimonos and vintage-inspired T-shirts also favor the Seventies. Relaunched footwear ranges from signature wedges to colorful, bedazzled sandals.
