Lexus Launch

When you turn 60 years old like the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show is this fall, there’s reason to celebrate on a grand scale. The event, which runs through November 3, overflows with major players especially in its new superyacht village at Pier South. Look for the debut of Lexus’s 65-foot LY 650, among stunners.

Pizza Party

Miami is passionate about pizza. Gino Sorbillo imported his namesake pizzeria from Napoli to South Beach. Try his famous pizza fritta, a gourmet calzone. A Lucali partner will open DC Pie Co. in Brickell next week, too, for 15-inch pies and Lucali favorites such as salads and meatballs. There’s even a similar adjacent bar, Dom’s Brickell.
