Cali Chic

The Webster is known for the chicest brands, but founder Laure Hériard Dubreuil also designs a namesake, private label that’s only carried at her stores. For the latest collection, she travels to Big Sur on the California coast. Silk, mohair and stretch cotton clothing (and a mountain boot collaboration with Pierre Hardy) evoke the exclusive enclave’s rustic vibe.

Expect to see works by Sterling Ruby at Art Basel fair to coincide with his exhibit at ICA, Miami. Though it isn’t the German-born, American artist’s first solo show, the 75 works on view from November 7 to February 2, 2020 comprise his most comprehensive museum survey. Craft, a universal thread, ranges from ceramics to quilts.
