The pastry mastermind behind the Salty Donut created Batch, the Cookie Company in Fort Lauderdale. His concept joins an artisanal cookie niche pioneered by Night Owl and Insomnia. The menu features classics like Valrhona chocolate chip and Maldon sea salt, Instagram-friendly Funfetti, and vegan and gluten-free options including a take on key lime pie.

Infinite Wisdom

Turkish artist Refik Anadol’s first major retrospective opens at Artechouse in Miami Beach on October 5. “Infinite Space” builds upon the wild success of his traveling, immersive installation, “Infinity Room.” It’s shown with other works that blend his signature media as well as philosophical references to Romantic poet William Blake.
